POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with an assault in a newsagent’s.

A man was head butted in the unprovoked attack in Market News, on Market Square, Wisbech, at just after 5pm on Tuesday, December 14.

The victim, a 35-year-old man from Wisbech, was talking to the shopkeeper when the suspect walked in looking angry.

He had a short argument with the shopkeeper before assaulting the victim, who did not suffer any injury.

PC Dan Brain, who is investigating, said: “I am re-appealing for information about this attack and would particularly like to speak to the man pictured.”
