A CCTV image has been released of a man police would like to speak to following an altercation.
The incident took place on September 13 between 2.15am and 2.30am near Best Kebab, outside Nene Quay in Wisbech.
There was an exchange of words between two men, before the altercation took place, leaving one of the men with injuries. He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and kept in overnight.
PC Michelle Bax said: "I would like to speak to the man pictured as I believe he can help with my inquiries.
"If anyone recognises him, I would ask that they get in touch with me."
