POLICE are appealing for information after a man was punched and kicked as he walked home in Wisbech.
The 31-year-old victim had just left the Spice Bar in Wisbech and was near NatWest Bank in Old Market Place when he stopped to speak to a woman.
As he spoke to her he was punched in the face by a man and fell to the floor where he was also kicked in the face and to the side.
The victim suffered minor injuries.
There are no descriptions of the people involved.
PC Geoff Hawley, from Wisbech Police Station, said: “This was an unprovoked attack and I am keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened, particularly the woman who the man spoke to just before the assault.”
