Police have issued a warning to motorists in Fenland following last night’s thunderstorm.

Writing on the Facebook page Policing Wisbech, a spokesman said: “Last might most of Fenland was covered by a large thunderstorm.
“This has resulted in some places having large amounts of standing water on the road this morning.
“Please drive to the road conditions and drive to arrive.”
