THIEVES struck at two homes in Long Sutton, stealing a number of small items from one and cash and jewellery from the other.
The first burglary took place at a home in Garnsgate Road overnight on January 6-7. Thieves broke in through a UPVC door.
A police spokesman said: "It is thought they stole a number of small items, but a list has not yet been compiled."
The second burglary took place in Back Lane overnight on January 7-8. Thieves broke through a window and stole cash and jewellery.
