Police investigate assault after man is thrown onto stationary car’s bonnet in Wisbech

OFFICERS are investigating an assault after a man was thrown onto the bonnet of a stationary car in Wisbech.

At around 6pm a man reported that he was thrown onto the bonnet of the car, which was stationary at the traffic lights between Bridge Street and Nene Quay.

The incident happened on Friday, February 25. The man was not seriously injured.

A police spokesman said: “We would like to hear from the driver of the car as we believe they may have important information about what happened.”
