POLICE are appealing for villagers in Outwell to help identify vandals responsible for a series of offences over the past week.
Police have received numerous reports of criminal damage, including a car door being kicked in, a "Dogs Loose" sign being stolen from a gate and general damage caused to fences in the Wisbech and Outwell Roads areas.
A spokesman at Downham Market Police Station said: "We know there is a group of youngsters involved in this spate of criminal damage and we're asking local people to put names forward so we can take action against them.
"Vandalism is disrespectful and causes a lot of upset and inconvenience to those households targeted.
"We take it very seriously."
