Police find empty wine bottle in car of driver who was arrested for being three times over drink drive limit

A man was arrested in Guyhirn yesterday (June 7) after being found to be three times over the drink drive limit.

Officers stopped the man who was driving a silver Renault at 11:16am yesterday (Tuesday June 7) on Guyhirn Bridge, following reports that it was swerving across the A47.

The man then gave a positive breath test, blowing 113 with the limit being 35.

The driver was subsequently arrested and taken to Wisbech police station.
