PENSIONERS at the Oasis Day Centre in Wisbech spent the afternoon with some really slippery customers when they were visited by a variety of reptiles.
DK Reptiles of Wisbech provided the treat for the elderly visitors who are offered three days of fun get-togethers by staff.
“Some who came were really scared at the beginning,” said Lynne Hayden the day centre’s manager.
“Yet in the end they loved them. They were given lots of history and information about reptiles and had the chance to hold them which is certainly something a bit different and was very much enjoyed by everyone.”
Snakes, lizards, geckos and tarantulas were just some of the animals that were brought along to the day by DK Reptiles.
