A pedestrian is in hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a lorry near Wisbech tonight.
The A1101 was closed from 8pm – and remained closed into the night- as emergency services dealt with the incident.
“Police are currently on the scene of a serious road traffic collision in Elm, near Wisbech,” said a spokesman for Norfolk Police.
“Officers were called shortly after 8pm this evening (Sunday 31 January) to reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a lorry on the A1101.
“The male pedestrian has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“The road is currently closed whilst emergency services deal with the incident.”
