Police presence and the issuing of parking tickets helped to clear Wisbech High Street on Saturday (23).
After Policing Wisbech posted about it on social media, Facebook users started suggesting other areas that need attention.
“Walsoken by the shops please, they park just everywhere, on the pavement, loads of double parking. It is very dangerous for pedestrians,” wrote one person.
Another added: “Fantastic! The town centre is SUPPOSED to be pedestrianised on a Saturday... safer for families.”
