Marshland High School took 50 year 8 and year 9 students to Paris to study mathematics outside of the classroom.
The students visited Disneyland, climbed the Eiffel Tower, visited the Louvre museum, visited the Cite Des Sciences Museum, went on a tour around the Stade de France National stadium and went on a river cruise down the river Seine.
Trip leaders’ aid the students were able to see the importance of mathematics outside of the classroom “and the children have come back to school this half term with a greater sense of enthusiasm in maths lessons”.
