The area's youngsters put their numeracy skills to the test with hands-on games, puzzles and activities at Ramnoth Junior School, Wisbech. The Hands on Maths Roadshow was visited by 12 schools. Ramnoth School is part of a learning network of schools, including Gorefield Primary, Kinderley Primary at Tydd St Giles, Wisbech St Mary Primary, Murrow Primary and the Meadowgate School at Wisbech, which aims to raise achievements in mathematics.

The roadshow is part of the Millennium Mathematics Project, an education initiative aiming to promote enjoyment of maths through hands-on activities.
