A NOKIA mobile phone was stolen from a Fenland home in a distraction burglary.
A man called at a house in Mayfair Gardens at about 3pm on January 20.
The 54-year-old victim was asked about the previous occupants of the house and when he went to find a forwarding address the Nokia 2760 mobile phone was stolen from a shelf near the door.
The thief left in a T-registered saloon car, described as bright blue but not metallic. It was a Toyota or a Nissan.
Launching a police appeal for information, Det Con Rachel Pearce said: "I would like to speak to anyone with information about this crime, particularly if they recognise the vehicle and have seen it before."
