MOTORISTS are being warned of possible delays during road repairs along Weasenham Lane, Wisbech.

Cambridgeshire County Council will carry out the �140,000 project to resurface the road and carry out associated works between June 1-4. Work is scheduled over the school holiday but traffic delays are still expected.

Work will take place between Boleness Road and Elm Road and diversions will be in place taking traffic along the A1101 Elm High Road, A47, Cromwell Road, back onto Weasenham Lane and vice versa.

Weasenham Lane will be closed during the work and traffic signals will be in operation at times at the Boleness Road/Weasenham Lane junction.

Vehicle access to homes and businesses will be maintained and people will still be able to use the waste disposal site from the Cromwell Road end of Weasenham Lane, but access to the site from theA1101 Churchill Road will not be possible.
