CHILDREN at Murrow Primary school took part in a Reading Mission during the summer holidays.
A reading bus parked at the school, and children had to read six books to get a medal and certificate. They also had to write about the books to prove they had read them.
Deputy head Stewart Cuthbertson said: "It is a very good scheme that encourages children to keep reading during the long summer holidays."
