A GOLF club raised more than £2,000 for a children’s charity at its annual charity day.

Tydd St Giles Golf Club hopes to raise £10,000 for the Rays of Sunshine children’s charity.

In its fourth year of supporting the charity it attracted 120 players who showed off their skills out on the golf course and tucked into a carvery lunch at the event on Friday, August 17.

The club is now planning other events to push themselves towards their fundraising target.
