A girl from Whittlesey has raised a hair-raising total of over £1,300 for charity after having a massive 20 inches cut off her hair.
Millie Cousins, 11, had the chop on November 26 during a school assembly at Park Lane Primary School in Whittlesey.
Millie, who prided herself on her long locks, will donate her hair to the Little Princess Trust, a charity which provides real-hair wigs, free of charge, to boys and girls that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other illnesses. The trust has given away over 2,000 wigs since its inception in 2006.
The 11-year-old has smashed her fundraising target of £350 after raising a whopping £1,326, which will go towards the production of the wigs.
