A couple’s annual memorial angling match raised £500 for a hospital ward.
Liz McManus and her husband, former Wisbech Town manger, Roy McManus organised the match, which was followed by a raffle, auction and sing a long at the Locomotive pub.
The auction was run by Lily Thorpe and Anne Proctor, while Mr McManus led the sing a long on the organ.
The Trafford Ward at the North Cambs Hospital in Wisbech is a 17 bed in-patient rehabilitation and three bed palliative care ward.
Mrs McManus said: “We would like to thank everyone for their support. The Trafford Ward was very pleased with the donation.”
