Wisbech Freemasons donate £500 to Meadowgate School Horticulture Department

Meadowgate School Horticulture Department are saying thank you after they received a “kind and generous” £500 donation from the Wisbech Freemasons.

The money will go towards replacing the polytunnel which forms part of the facilities to teach and deliver a new RHS Horticulture course which started earlier this month.

Emma Bird, sixth form co-ordinator, said: “We are very excited to be offering this course for our students as horticulture is an industry which offers opportunities in the local area.

“We would like to demonstrate the skills of our students to our local employers through the achievement of this nationally recognised qualification.”
