Parents and teachers at Meadowgate Academy raised hundreds at their Christmas Fayre which was held on Saturday December 9.
In a joint effort between the academy and the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), there were numerous craft stalls, games and competitions, refreshments, a raffle and Santa’s Grotto, plus stalls run by classes.
Despite the cold weather, Meadowgate PTA raised over £350 which will help to co-ordinate fund-raising and social events for the school community, including disco party nights for families and provision of toys and equipment for classes.
