ANN Clery-Fox, the Mayor of King's Lynn and West Norfolk got a chance to catch up with friends and pick up some money for her charity at the same time.
Mrs Clery-Fox is a member of the Walpole St Peter Art and Craft Club, but she has been so busy with her mayoral duties she hasn't had time to attend the class.
But she managed to find the time to meet members at the Woolpack pub in Terrington St John where she was presented with £100 raised by the group.
The money will go to the mayor's charity, which is for young carers.
She said: "I've just been so busy as mayor I haven't had chance to attend the group, but when I finish, I will be back.
"I'm so grateful for them raising this money, and it was lovely to see them all again.
