MARCH man Andrew Williams will stand trial accused of causing unnecessary suffering to an English bull terrier, after denying the charge when he appeared before Fenland magistrates on Friday.

Williams, 27, of Deerfield Road, is accused of causing the suffering by throwing, kicking or punching the dog, causing a broken leg.

He will stand trial at Fenland Magistrates' Court on March 24.
