STUDENTS and Staff at Neale-Wade Community College are celebrating continued success in this year s A level examinations. All Year 13 students who completed courses achieved success and over 50% of A level examinations were passed with higher grades.

STUDENTS and Staff at Neale-Wade Community College are celebrating continued success in this year's 'A' level examinations.

All Year 13 students who completed courses achieved success and over 50% of 'A' level examinations were passed with higher grades. This again represented an excellent achievement demonstrating how much hard work, effort and support has been demonstrated by Students, teachers and parents.

The joint working of Neale-Wade and Cromwell Community College, as part of the Fenland 16-19 Partnership has also contributed to this success. The results show that the Partnership between the two Colleges is thriving and having an effect in increasing opportunity and raising Education Standards in Fenland.

Year 12 Students continue to do well at 'AS' level with a significant number of Students achieving higher grades, laying the foundation of future success.

Principal Tim Hitch said: "I am very pleased with the A level results and it appears that all students either achieved their target grades or better.

"I would like to congratulate all post 16 students on their results in particular Lewis Clarke - 3 'A' grades and a 'B' grade; Sarah Downes - 3 'A' grades and Sarah Fordham - 3 'A' grades."

Neale-Wade Students have obtained places at a wide range of Universities, with subjects ranging from Medicine to Politics. With 11 subjects gaining 100% pass rates and a number of very pleasing individual performances the hard work of staff and students is clear," said Ros Hawkes Head of Post 16.

Mr Hitch added "These results reflect continued progress and success at Neale-Wade Community College. Student hard work and dedication to their studies has been rewarded and I am delighted that this achievement will allow our Sixth Formers to continue their training and education"
