HUNDREDS of pounds of damage was caused following a burglary at a shop in March.

The break-in at Thing Me Bobs, in Broad Street, happened at about 2am on Monday.

Intruders broke through two sets of doors and attempted to steal a safe but failed and only made off with a small amount of cash.

DC Rachel Pearce, from Wisbech Police Station, said: "There was not that much stolen in this burglary but a lot of damage was caused to the shop and there would have been a lot of noise.
