Man robbed near Clarkson Arms pub in Wisbech by two men who asked for lighter
POLICE are appealing for information after a robbery near to the Clarkson Arms in Lynn Road, Wisbech, on Saturday. A 20-year-old man was cycling along Lynn Road at around 1am when two men asked him for a lighter. He stopped and put his hand in his pocket
POLICE are appealing for information after a robbery near to the Clarkson Arms in Lynn Road, Wisbech, on Saturday.
A 20-year-old man was cycling along Lynn Road at around 1am when two men asked him for a lighter.
He stopped and put his hand in his pocket and one of the men pulled out a knife and demanded money. He searched the victim's pockets and stole �15. The man was not injured in the incident.
The first offender is described as white, in his late 20s or early 30s, between 5ft 5in and 5ft 6in tall with a small scar on his chin.
The second offender is described as white, in his late 20s or early 30s, 6ft tall, with blond hair and bright blue eyes.
Det Sgt David Simpson said: "We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen this robbery take place or anyone who may have information about the offenders."
