A MAN has died after his car crashed into a lamp post on a Fenland road in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The man, thought to be in his early 30s, was driving a silver MG Rover on the A47 towards Wisbech at around 5am on Sunday. The collision happened in Tilney All Saints, close to the roundabout. A passenger in the car suffered minor injuries.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Team are appealing for witnesses and PC Steve Crowley would like to hear from anyone who has information concerning the manner of driving prior to the incident.
