A man had to be resuscitated after going into cardiac arrest in Wisbech yesterday.
At 6.13am, Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Zoe Smeed and Paramedic Dan Cody) arrived in Wisbech via a Magpas Rapid Response BMW, after a man in his 50’s went into cardiac arrest.
Two EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crews provided life support and resuscitated the patient, before the Helimedix anaesthetised the man.
The Magpas team then accompanied the man to Papworth Hospital by land ambulance, where on arrival he was in a serious but stable condition.
