A man has died in Upwell while carrying out mechanical work on a vehicle, police have confirmed.
Police were called to A D Hurst and Son, on Baptist Road, just after 8.30am on Tuesday to reports of the incident.
Officers attended the garage and confirmed a man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson said: “The building has been sealed off and officers will attend today and carry out initial enquiries with colleagues from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to establish the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.”
One man at the scene said he did not wish to comment.
