Man charged with Wisbech murder - and also charged with ‘preventing her lawful and decent burial’

Police investigating the murder of a woman in Wisbech have charged a man.
Steven Stocks, 43, of North Brink in Wisbech, has been charged with murdering 53-year-old Laraine Rayner and preventing her lawful and decent burial.
Ms Rayner’s body was discovered at a property in Mill Road on April 24. A post mortem concluded that she died from a stab wound to the neck.
Stocks remains in police custody and is due to appear at Peterborough Magistrates Court this morning (May 4).
