Man charged with attempted murder of husband and wife in Nordelph

A MAN appeared in court today charged with the attempted murder of a husband and wife outside their home in Nordelph on Wednesday.

Wearing a blue T-shirt and glasses, 57-year-old Kevin Barrett spoke only to confirm his name and address at King’s Lynn Magistrates’ Court.

Barrett, of Chats Bald, High Street, Nordelph, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and one charge of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life.

He will be remanded in custody and will appear at Norwich Crown Court on July 7.
