Man charged after Clenchwarton Road crash leaves woman with serious injuries

A man has been charged following a crash in King’s Lynn yesterday.
Officers were called to reports of a collision between a fuel lorry and a BMW on Clenchwharton Road, near to the A47 Pullover roundabout, just after 11.50am.
The driver of the BMW, a woman in her 30’s, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the lorry, Marian Stamate, aged 45 and of no fixed address but from Romania, has been charged with driving without due care and attention.
He has been remanded into custody to appear before King’s Lynn Magistrates Court this morning (Tuesday 8 November).
