Man arrested on suspicion of burglary in Wisbech town centre after CCTV catches him entering business premesis through window

A man was arrested on suspicion of burglary in Wisbech town centre last night after CCTV caught him entering a business premises through a window.

Police were alerted at around 1.45am to an audiable alarm and a man who was seen acting suspiciously following calls from members of the public to the Police Control Room and Fenland CCTV Control Room.

Officers from across Fenland attended but were unable to locate the suspect.

CCTV operators then observed a male suspect entering a business premises through a window.

He was arrested on suspicion of burglary and was taken to King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre.
