A man was arrested on suspicion of robbery in Wisbech last night after police were alerted to an incident on Cromwell Road at around 9.45pm.
Police said: “A member of the public supported the victim and followed the suspect towards the A47 South Brink, updating the Police Control Room as they followed.
“Officers arrested the suspect near to the Guyhirn sit-in truck stop. The BCH dog unit supported officers in the arrest.
“The suspect was taken to the Police Investigation Centre where inquiries continue.”
