A drink driver from Wisbech was arrested on Saturday after being involved in a single-vehicle collision outside the Horsefair Shopping Centre.
Upon officers’ arrival, a road-side breath test was conducted which showed 115 micrograms of alcohol in the 30-year-old’s breath - however the legal limit is 35.
The man, who was arrested at around 12.20pm, was taken to the Police Investigation Centre in Kings Lynn.
He has been charged with driving while over the legal limit, driving without insurance and driving without a licence.
He has been bailed to return to Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on July 20.
