The Luxe Cinema in Wisbech has launched an audio podcast celebrating all that is good and bad about film.
Hosted each week by Luxe team members Nathan Smith and Oli Sutton, with other colleagues joining in on later episodes, it aims to provide a light-hearted look at the world of cinema.
Future episodes will feature interviews with actors, producers and directors as well as regular features such as ‘The Short Straw’ - which sees the hosts draw straws, with the loser having to review an awful film on the next episode – and ‘Six Degrees of Adam Sandler’.
As well as genial conversation there will be in-depth looks at specific films in ‘Once the Dust Has Settled’, where a film is re-visited to see how it fared.
The show comes is in good hands say The Luxe, as Nathan helped steer the Mature Gamer Podcast to the top of the iTunes podcast charts and Oli is hard at work on a media production course.
Both avid film fans they have a natural flair for conversation and are not afraid to pull any punches when a film is woefully bad.
