The Light cinema in Wisbech has reopened after closing its doors as a precautionary measure this morning due to a gas leak.

National Grid are now on site in Prezzo and Frankie and Benny’s.

An update on the cause is expected soon.

This morning the Light posted an important notice on their website: “Whilst the levels of gas are not high enough to be harmful, we have closed the cinema as a precautionary measure while National Grid carry out an investigation to find the source of the leak.

“As ever, the safety of our customers and staff remains a priority.
