A WISBECH schoolboy has been elected as a member of the Youth Parliament for Fenland and East Cambridgeshire.
Lewis Punter, a Year 10 student at Thomas Clarkson Community College, beat off competition from candidates from other schools in Cambridgeshire at a ceremony in Shire Hall, Cambridge.
John Bennett, head teacher of Thomas Clarkson Community College, said: "Lewis's achievement demonstrates what our students are capable of. We look forward to his success in this exciting new role.
