LIKE buses, you wait for ages for one to come along - and then they all seem to come at once!
In this instance, however, it was the Kazakh, a newly-built Russian vessel which arrived at Port Sutton Bridge.
Last week saw the arrival of the Boris Shcherbina at the port but the Kazakh now topples her off the top spot as the biggest ship arriving this year. The Kazakh is 5.1metres longer and carries some 1,000 tonnes more cargo.
The Kazakh was launched on May 26 at the Onega Shipyard , Petrozadvosk, the fourth vessel in a series of six being built.
She is pictured arriving with a part cargo of timber from Ireland, having anchored in The Wash on Saturday morning to await sufficient water to enable her to berth at Sutton Bridge.
