THERE was a fashion show with a difference at Emneth Primary School when youngsters took to the catwalk in outfits made form recycled materials.

Carrier bags and crisp packets were just some of the rubbish used by Class 8 pupils to make some stunning outfits.

They had been given the challenge to come up with some imaginative outfits and they certainly succeeded with their show called Junk 2 Funk.

Lots of hard work was involved in designing and making of the outfits, reprographics, music and the planning and running the show.

The aim of the show was to raise awareness of the concept of recycling and to have lots of fun at the same time.
