LONG Sutton Scouts and Guides have joined forces to raise money to modernise their HQ.
The final fund-raising push will be at the summer gala today when a celebration of Scouting and Guiding in the area will take place from 5-0pm in the form of a 'Summer Gala in the Park'.
This will be held in Winfrey Park, in Long Sutton, and entry is free.
Emergency repairs were made to the Scout and Guide headquarters at the end of last year and the youngsters have been undertaking many fund-raising activities to help pay for a storage extension to the rear of the building.
A recent resurgence in the movement has necessitated the opening of a second Cub pack in the town.
