A WOMAN who stole jewellery from a Wisbech store to get cash for drugs has been sent back into custody.
Sophie Ridgewell had been released early from a 120-day sentence at the time she stole £120 of goods from Peacocks on January 9, Fenland magistrates heard this week.
When arrested, Ridgewell, 20, told police she had sold some of the jewellery for £10 to help pay for her £20 a day heroin habit.
"She has a drug problem and knows she faces custody today," said solicitor John Clarke. "She knows she is bang to rights."
Ridgewell, of London Road, Leverington, was given a total of 54 days custody in a Young Offenders' Institution.
