JESSIE Morton is 94 years old but she is still a winner when it comes to competing against much younger members of the Women's Institute.

After being a member for 64 years she has once again won the cup in her branch for being awarded most points throughout the year in monthly competitions.

The former school teacher has been a member of Marshland St James WI since 1943 and never misses a meeting.

She joined the branch with her friend Jean Barrows, 85, and the two have attended together ever since. They still sit together at the meetings in Jubilee Hall.
