Iron fireplace worth around �500 stolen from Fenland cottage

AN IRON fireplace worth around �500 has been stolen from a Fenland cottage.

The cast iron woodburning stove was believed to have been taken sometime between noon on Monday December 6 and Saturday December 11 at the home in Town Street, Upwell.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed what happened or spotted anyone acting suspiciously in the area. They believe at least two people would have had to carry the heavy woodburner.
