A MAN returning home found intruders had not only stolen some valuable items but had also flooded his kitchen.
The attack on the house in Chestnut Road, Wisbech, happened between 6.15am and 7pm on August 5.
The thieves got in by forcing a rear door, and stole a laptop computer and also raided the fridge, stealing cans of beer.
Upstairs was searched and items stolen from a bedroom.

Police say the thieves then put a plug in the kitchen sink, turned on the cold water tap, and left, leaving the room to flood.
