ALEX Fitzpatrick would rather get drunk than carry out unpaid community work, he told the probation service.
On Wednesday he was in court, admitting that he missed two work sessions during August.
Adding an extra 20 hours work to his order, presiding magistrate Alan Jones told him: "It is not acceptable to say you would rather do other things. The consequences of not doing the hours could be jail."
Fitzpatrick, 19, of The Staithe, Wisbech, was given his original 60-hour work order in July for theft.
