A FENLAND church raised thousands of pounds during its flower festival.
All Saints Church in Walsoken was decorated with 35 flower displays, all of which depict their chosen theme of postage stamps.
As well as the themed display, entitled “Stamping it out in Church”, the festival has also featured historical talks, a Battle of Britain display and an auction which raised more than �600.
Janice Dyke, who helped organise the festival, said: “Our target for the whole festival was about �4,000, which we now hope to exceed.
“I want to say a big thank you to everyone who helped us put on such a great event.”
