Black Coffee is the first play written by Agatha Christie and the only play ever to feature Hercule Poirot.
It is guaranteed to appeal to audiences with the usual Christie mix of mystery, suspense, foul play and red herrings.
Poirot is called in by skinflint scientist Sir Claud Amory to investigate the disappearance of his atomic formula.
However, just before Poirot and his sidekick Captain Hastings arrive at the country estate, Sir Claud is killed off by a rogue black coffee laced with poison.
There is a collection of hangers-on who include various family members, staff and a mysterious Italian visitor who all come under suspicion - but is everyone who they say they are?
Martin Lightburn heads the large cast as Poirot with newcomer Neil Staveley taking on the role of Captain Hastings.
Directed by Linda Ekins, performances will run from Tuesday November 17 until Saturday November 21 starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £11/£9 concessions and can be booked online or by calling the Angles Theatre Box Office on 01945 474447.
