THIRTY-five-year-old Marie Young has been charged with possessing an imitation firearm in Wisbech on Saturday, with intent to cause fear of violence.
It is alleged that she had an imitation BB gun in the town and was in possession of amphetamine. Further charges allege that she permitted Wayne McCarthy to drive a Volvo 740 car without a licence or insurance on Saturday.
Because the firearms charge can be dealt with only at Crown Court, Fenland magistrates sent Young, of Baxter Close, Wisbech, for trial at Cambridge Crown Court. She was given unconditional bail until her appearance there on Monday, and her legal aid was extended.
