IT seems that these youngsters were unable to find anything productive to do during the school holidays.
Our photographer Brian Purdy captured them amusing themselves near Wisbech Town Bridge on Wednesday by throwing stones at a duck, circled, as it made its way down the River Nene.
Brian described how the duck bobbed under the water several times to avoid being hit.
Hopefully the youths' parents will see these pictures and strongly encourage them to find other ways to spend their free time in the future.
